Are your housekeepers insured?
Yes, all of our housekeepers are covered for public liability and personal injury. (There is a £100.00 excess payable by the client).
How do you select your housekeepers?
We are very careful in the selection of our housekeepers. They can come from word of mouth or selective advertising. They must pass a telephone screen before they are interviewed and 2 references obtained. We do not employ any housekeeper until we are 100% happy with their references and abilities. 90% of applicants are rejected due to our rigorous vetting procedure. Applicants must provide eligibility to work in the UK and also a DBS or Police Check.
How long will it take to allocate my housekeeper?
Between 3 – 5 days to ensure the right cleaner has been matched to you.
Do I get the same cleaner each visit?
Certainly on regular cleans unless the cleaner is on holiday or calls in sick and a replacement will be given where possible. It is important to us that you build a relationship with your cleaner and hopefully see them as part of your family.
Can I specify the time and day my housekeeper calls?
Yes, you can select any times Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. (Other times may be available on request).
What tasks will my housekeeper do?
Our housekeepers are insured to undertake any house work required within your home or outside your home. The checklist you agree with your cleaner will clarify duties.
What if my housekeeper fails to turn up?
If your housekeeper fails to turn up we will try to find a replacement if this is what you want. We have a database of floating housekeepers who are available for such circumstances. Please call our office and we can arrange this.
How is payment accepted?
Payment can be made by PayPal, Paym, bank transfer or cheque. These are collected upfront.
Do you provide cleaning materials?
It depends. For all other services other than Builder or End of Tenancy Cleaning you will have to provide your own products. Clients usually prefer to specify substances used in their homes and have favourite cleaning products they use.
How do you ensure the services are of a high standard?
Cleaners get induction training before they start work and then ongoing training. We conduct regular random spot checks and carry out audits to ensure the standards are high also.
